The stock shift weight does not need to be removed during the installation process, which saves time and makes the installation quick and easy.

• Remove the gear selector cable from the original shifter, using long nose pliers or mole grips
• Install the top section of the new short shifter, which will locate due to cut out underneath the top section
• Then install the lower section and new bolts and tighten, reconnect the gear selector cable
